DENS

Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter is our local homeless charity for people in the Dacorum area of Hertfordshire. DENS is so much more than just a roof and a bed, their aim is to be the first port of call for people in the area who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. They ensure that individuals have access to temporary and short-term accommodation, and individuals and families have access to emergency food and provisions. Their services include Day Centre and Open Space, The Elms Hostel, Move on Service, Resettlement Service, Foodbank and Social Enterprise Projects, and we have been delighted to support this amazing charity since they started. THE PEPPER FOUNDATION

There are over 49,000 babies, children and young people in the UK who live with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and the number of referrals are rising year on year. Therefore, the care that is provided by the Children's Hospice at Home service is vital to help support the families who are affected and living with these conditions every day. The Pepper Foundation raises funds specifically for the children's nursing service as they believe that patients and families living with complex health needs should be able to enjoy the best quality of life possible, however short that life may be. The Pepper team are based in Tring and are famous locally for the wonderful Pepper Show, showcasing incredible local performing arts entertainment. Tracey and Katy have attended many Pepper Shows over the years and are delighted to continue to support this charity through our business endeavours. The Hospice of St Francis

The Hospice of St Francis is a charity which helps 2,000 local people and their families, in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, to live their precious lives well through improving symptoms, achieving personal goals and helping them to feel safe. Defined by each person's need, their free care for people managing, or recovering from, serious illness has many forms - care at the Hospice, at Home, or in their Health and Wellbeing Centre which offers courses, workshops, clinics and therapies.

Based in beautiful surroundings just outside Berkhamsted, they are also there for family, friends and carers. They offer advice for those worried about a loved one, which could mean recommending group activities, supporting children through a close relative's illness or providing practical support and advice when someone special is no longer there.
