How We Do It

Designing your Bespoke Financial Plan to help meet your goals and aspirations is something that takes time and needs to follow a process.

We think it helps to know what is involved, to give you reassurance and confidence as we move forwards with the planning journey, and so you know what to expect.

Shown below are the steps we take when working with you to develop your Plan.

Find Out More Below

Our initial meeting
The main purpose of this meeting is for us to find out about you, and what your financial goals and objectives are. It is an opportunity for you to find out about us and our services, and to decide whether you would like to work with us in the future, and for us to make sure that we can offer you the advice and help you need. This will usually be via a video call, and is at our expense.

Getting the detail
When you are ready to proceed, we will have a 'fact finding' discussion with you, which involves gathering together the information needed so that we can properly research the detail about the existing arrangements you have. Documents may be required eg: valuation statements, pension information etc and we will introduce you to our Personal Finance Portal, so that you have a safe and secure way to communicate with us about your personal information. With your authority, we will contact providers on your behalf so that we can be sure we have all the up-to-date information before progressing.

Designing your personalised Financial Plan
When we have all the necessary information we will spend time carefully analysing this, and align it with your financial planning needs and aspirations, so that we can prepare a Plan for you. This will include our detailed recommendations for achieving your goals.

Presenting your Financial plan
We will present your Bespoke Financial Plan to you, and talk about the recommendations we are making to help you achieve your personal financial goals, in a clear and concise way. This will give you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the recommended solutions with us. We will always be honest and realistic about what we feel can be achieved, and if further discussion is needed, we are always on hand to support and help you through the decision making process.

When you are ready to proceed with your Plan, we will implement the agreed action on your behalf, and liaise with the relevant providers to establish your planning as smoothly as possible. Our team will be monitoring progress and keeping you informed during this stage using your Personal Finance Portal. They will be co-ordinating the necessary documents, perhaps with other family members who are included as Trustees in your planning. If you would like to include discussion with your family, we are always delighted to arrange virtual meetings with them, so they too can ask relevant questions, and have peace of mind about the arrangements you are making.

Ongoing support
It is important to keep your Bespoke Financial Plan on track. As your circumstances, and that of your family, can change, we need to make sure that your objectives and goals can still be fulfilled. Our ongoing service means that we are always here to review changes with you on an annual basis, both personal and legislative, and make any amendments to your planning, as required.
